Presentations and lectures
For small groups, photo clubs or organizations I also offer interesting and instructive presentations or lectures on various topics. Customized lectures for larger groups or that focus on the topics your organization or club is especially interested in are available on request.
As a teacher associated with the Centrum voor Beeldexpressie, photo clubs that are a member of the organization can rely on a discount of €109, paid by the CVB.
Landscape photography presentation
During this talk on landscape or nature photography I will discuss the basics ranging from aperture and shutter speed, depth of field, focus, ISO, exposure and histogram to JPEG vs. RAW. I will also talk about the 4 most important aspects of landscape photography: vision and style, preparation, composition, and the importance and use of light.
Lightroom presentation
During this talk on Adobe Lightroom, I will discuss the following items: JPEG vs. RAW, Lightroom settings, import and photo library, metadata, keywords, tagging and search, develop and export, generate output for web, print or slideshow, folder structure and backup.
Insights and inspirations
For this talk I made a selection of images which all have some kind of story behind them. Some images will lead me to talk about how the picture was taken and what makes it so special to me. Others will bring about a discussion about composition, light, use of filters or special techniques like exposure blending and focus stacking.

Sit back and relax! This slideshow takes you on my travels through the beautiful and varied landscape of the United Kingdom. On this trip we visit the impressive coast of Dorset and Cornwall, the rough landscapes of Snowdonia National Park in Wales, the lakes and valleys of Glencoe and the Isle of Skye in the Scotland.
