Slovenia
Slovenia is a country even smaller than Belgium, but with a far greater variety of landscapes and geographical features. It definitely offers a lot of photographical opportunities: from the snow-capped mountains, fast-running rivers and crystal-clear lakes of Triglav National park in the northeast to the idyllic and romantic lake Bled and the rolling hills around the Ljubljana basin in the centre of the country.
Vaucluse
The Vaucluse, in the heart of the Provence, is confined by the Mont Ventoux in the north and the Luberon mountains in the south. The landscape is a mixture of valleys, forested hills and mountains, vineyards and lavender fields. Furthermore this historical and cultural region is known for some of France most beautiful villages.
Scotland
The Scottish highlands have inspired loads of photographers to stunning work. The rough landscape, the wide views and the kindness of the people, make it a fantastic travel destination.
Ecuador
Shooting the rich diversity of the Ecuadorian landscape is every photographer’s dream. Traveling from Quito to the Avenue of Volcanoes, Bellavista cloudforest and the Amazon, I tried to capture the spirit and beauty of this divers South-American country.
Tuscany
The Val d'Orcia situated in Tuscany, is known for its rolling hills, agricultural landscape dotted with cypress trees and picturesque villages. The natural park of the Orcia Valley is one of Tuscany’s best-preserved natural wonders and has just been added to the Unesco World Heritage List.
Iceland
This raw, chaotic and dramatic landscape was born from volcanic eruptions and carved out by raging rivers or glaciers. Its remarkable peace and quiet, pure nature and deserted character make this country an exceptional place.
Dorset
Dorset is well known for its magnificent coastline. This world heritage site has important geological value and therefore often referred to as the Jurassic coast. The area more inland is a mixture of rolling hills and wide valleys. Add to that the picturesque villages and the yellow patches of rapeseed fields in spring and you can image why I chose to visit this beautiful county.
Cornwall
When a landscape photographer talks about Cornwall he almost instantly thinks of great light, dramatic skies, impressive coastlines and the beaches with endless possibilities to capture intimate landscapes. These pictures provide a quick overview of this magnificent region.
Snowdonia
Snowdonia is a mountainous area, situated in the north-east of Wales. Its name derives from its highest mountain, Snowdon, which, with its 1085 meters of height, this peak is the icon of the national park. This area covers a variety of impressive mountainous landscapes and is thus a true Walhalla for photographers.
Côte d'Opale
This magnificent coastline, situated in the north of France, is known for its impressive chalk cliffs, beautiful beaches, outspread farmland and sloping hills. This landscape, with its rich fauna and flora, never ceases to impress me.
The Langemeersen
This small nature reserve situated in the river delta of the Scheldt is one of my favorite “close to home” locations and one of the places I often visit whenever I’m out of photographic ideas.
Flemish Ardennes
It is often challenging to take the same exciting pictures in my little hometown Mater, situated in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, as in impressive coastal areas such as Cornwall . However, throughout the years I have learned that beauty can be found pretty much everywhere; it is only up to the watchful eye to detect it.
Beautiful Belgium
Contrary to popular belief, Belgium has an incredibly varied landscape ranging from the beaches and polders in the west, to the high hills and wild forests in the east. This portfolio attempts to capture this varied beauty of the Belgian landscape.
Miscellaneous
This folder contains a collection of images that do not fit any of the other portfolios. It covers different subjects going from Tree frogs to Butterflies or Birds, photographed at various locations.
