Visiting Tuscany
I am currently visiting the Val d'Orcia situated in Tuscany, Italy. This area is known for its rolling hills, agricultural landscape dotted with cypress trees and picturesque villages. The natural park of the Orcia Valley is one of Tuscany’s best-preserved natural wonders and has just been added to the Unesco World Heritage List. Moreover, it is recognized as one of the most characteristic and most beautiful landscapes in Italy.
In September, the light here is still pretty harsh, so with only half an hour of good light either at sunrise or sunset, landscape photography here is not simple. Nevertheless the Italian way of live here kind of suits me, so I will also try to take some time to just relax and enjoy a good pizza and a glass of Nobile di Montepulciano wine.
Since I can only access the internet rarely I am not able to answer any correspondence. For those with questions about the workshops or other things, I will try to respond as soon as I get back, September 21.
My images of this trip will be online soon, so be sure to come back in the near future.
