Scotland

Scotland

Back from Scotland since a few weeks now, I finally finished my shots. I must say it was an incredible trip – I would even say the best one so far – and I would go back immediately! The Scottish landscape is wild and absolutely stunning and together with the peace and quiet and the friendliness of the local people it sure was a fantastic location to visit. It actually reminded me of Iceland a few years ago, where I found the same earnestness and pure nature, that I often miss here in Belgium. I’m pretty glad about the shots I was able to take as well. The weather conditions were quite harsh, but the hard work made me appreciate my shots even more.

Well, enough said, I put the Scotland portfolio online, hope you all enjoy it!

The weekend of 4 and 5 December I was supposed to host a winter evening, with shots from the North, together with two of my colleagues, Wouter Pattyn and Bernard Van Elegem. Due to the workshop in Cap-Gris-Nez during that same weekend, I won’t be able to attend the event myself, but I hope some of you will. My part of the presentation consists of pictures of my trips to Snowdonia, Cornwall, Dorset, Iceland and Scotland. As both Wouter and Bernard are great photographers, I am absolutely convinced it will be a great night!

The presentation takes place on December 4th at 8 pm in Dienstencentrum, Braemkasteelstraat 29-45, 9050 Gentbrugge. For more information please visit: http://www.natuurpunt.be/nl/activiteitdetail-winteravond-_5476.aspx.
