Roots nature photography competition
Here’s a small update of the last few weeks. I am happy to announce that my image of ‘Getzbach during autumn’ won the first prize in the Roots (formerly known as Grasduinen) nature photography competition. Winners were announced earlier this month in the castle of Woerden in the Netherlands. I’ve always had the feeling that there was something special about this image, which still overwhelms me every time I see it. I’ll never forget the beauty of this forest at the peak of fall, filled with the scent and the bright orange hues of autumn. All winning images will be at display in the castle until November and will be published in the October issue of Roots magazine.
Furthermore, four of my images got published in the Roots Nature Agenda 2012. This annual publication is connected to the nature photography contest and collects the competition’s best images.
