Merry X-Mas
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. For the photographers among you I wish you a lot of fantastic work and some great light, but most importantly to you all, a good health and a lot of happiness in 2010. Looking back at 2009 it has been a pretty good photographic year. I successfully participated in several national and international photography contests.
Quite recently I received the first prize in the “man-made” category of the Digital Camera photographer of the year contest. Furthermore a lot of my work got published in quite a few prominent magazines and books, among them the Landscape Photographer of the Year Collection 03, Outdoor Photography magazine, Digital Camera magazine, Practical Photography and Grasduinen. And I’m happy to say that there are still some nice publications on their way, which will be published in the beginning of next year. But more on that later.
As you might already know, I also started organizing workshops. They have been a great success so far and I have just now updated my workshop program for 2010. I am organizing two “basic nature photography workshops” in March and September, a completely new “macro photography workshop” in April and another “landscape photography workshop” at the Côte d’Opale in December 2010. The “Landscape photography workshop” at the Côte d'Opale on the 13th and 14th of February which I previously marked as ‘sold out’ has now one open place, as one of the participants had to cancel. So if you would still like to take part, don't hesitate and subscribe now.
If you are interested in finding out more or if you would like to make a reservation, please visit my website.
If you’re still looking for a last-minute Christmas gift, you can visit my online shop for a collection of calendars for 2010. Or what about giving a workshop as a gift? They are the ideal way to improve one’s skills and are presented in a stylish gift wrap which could fit perfectly under your Christmas tree.
Finally, with holidays on their way I hope to add some new work, so be sure to check my website from time to time.
