Workshop Provence

Workshop Provence

From the 2nd until the 8th of July I will be giving a 7-day workshop in the Vaucluse, a beautiful and photogenic region in the heart of the Provence. During this workshop we will focus on the picturesque scenery, narrow streets and colorful houses and details of some of the most beautiful villages in France. Furthermore we will also take a look at those villages from a distance and photograph them and the surrounding landscape in the warm light of the setting sun. Obviously if you think of the Provence, you instantly think of lavender and we will of course focus on this beautiful and sweet-smelling flower too.

This workshop is organized by ZuiDERHuiS Nv (lic A 5039) in Gent’, who takes care of all practical arrangements therefore you can count on the experience and knowledge of an established travel agency.

If you are interested in subscribing for this unique workshop or if you would like to read the full description or itinerary, please visit my website. In addition, early bookers get a €100 discount.

Autumn

In the beginning of October it almost looked like summer had finally started here in Belgium, but with the turbulent weather of last week and the cold and misty mornings of the past few days it is now obvious that Autumn has really begun. This season is by far my most favorite time of the year, I just love the transformation nature goes through, not to mention the cooler temperatures. In a few weeks the landscape and forests will be ablaze with autumn colours, a real threat for a landscape photographer, so make sure you don’t miss it! Remember that autumn colours actually look at their best when light is soft, so don’t hesitate to go out when weather is dull and do not forget to use your polarization filter to further enhance those beautiful autumn hues!
I will be spending most of October in Slovenia to hopefully catch the last of autumn in the Ardennes at the beginning of November, so you can expect lots of new images when I get back.
