La douce France
La douce France Having already been there four years ago, I revisited the Vaucluse in the heart of the Provence this summer. The reasons for my visit were twofold. Firstly, from time to time my girlfriend likes to go a place where the average temperature is above freezing point, where morning rises are after 4am and where there is also some time to relax. Secondly, I wanted to make all preparations for a Provence workshop I am planning for next year, but more on that later on.
Although this trip was not fully dedicated to photography, I did go out a few times to photograph the beautiful lavender fields at sunrise and sunset and visited some of the most beautiful villages of France to focus on the authentic scenery and colourful details that characterize life in “La Douce France”.

Workshops
I have been working hard on my workshops schedule for 2012, which is online now. Apart from the new dates for the workshops that have been running for a few years now, I am also organizing two new workshops: a landscape and macro photography workshop in Hallerbos in April and a two-day autumn landscape photography workshop in the High Fens in November.
Furthermore I changed the Damme workshop a bit, which now includes some evening and night photography in Bruges. As you might have noticed, some of the workshops tend to sell out fast, so don’t wait too long to subscribe.
