This weekend I will be giving a two-day landscape photography workshop at the Côte d’Opale. There is still one place left for which I am now offering a 20% reduction. This workshop includes two days of photographic tuition, one night accommodation with breakfast and a packed lunch on Sunday.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. For the photographers among you I wish you a lot of fantastic work and some great light, but most importantly to you all, a good health and a lot of happiness in 2010. Looking back at 2009 it has been a pretty good photographic year. I successfully participated in several national and international photography contests.

Digital Camera Photographer of the Year has announced the winners of 2009's competition and I am extremely proud to say that I was awarded the 1st place in the “Man-made” category for the winning entry “Gas station”. The judges were looking for photographic opportunities that highlight aspects of our world that have been shaped by the hand of man.

It is November now, days are getting colder, autumn colours are fading fast and the season is now slowly running to its end. For most people autumn is nothing more than the unmistakable proof that winter is coming, but for a landscape photographer this probably is the most beautiful and exciting time of the year.
