Autumn Photography Workshop in the Ardennes
Autumn is undoubtedly the most fascinating and inspiring season for landscape photographers. Nature is getting ready for the upcoming winter and deciduous forests transform themselves into a fabulous colour palette of red, brown and yellow hues. During this workshop we will visit the country of Godfrey of Bouillon in the high Ardennes and we take photographs along one of the most beautiful rivers in Belgium, the Semois. This river is the reason of this landscape’s characteristic relief with its deep valleys and high hills.
How do you portray such a complex forest landscape or compose an autumnal panoramic photograph? And how do you make sure the autumnal colours come alive in your photograph? That and so much more is what you will learn in this autumn photography workshop!
Forget about the standard autumn workshop: During this weekend you will discover the most beautiful new picturesque spots in the Ardennes!
Programme and locations
This 3-day workshop starts on Friday evening. On this first night I discuss the programme and I give you several practical tips. This introduction is followed by a sumptuous dinner at the hotel. On Saturday and Sunday we explore the region. We leave before the crack of dawn and take photographs along the Semois and from some hills located higher up. We conclude Saturday with an evening photography session in the beautiful Bouillon. During the weekend, there will be two evaluation moments: expect some specific feedback!
Is this workshop right for you?
This workshop is not suitable for beginners: basic concepts and camera settings are not covered during this workshop. You should have experience in manually setting your camera, you should be able to expose a photograph correctly and know how to operate the histogram. New customers are advised to attend the Basics of Nature Photography Workshop first.
