Dorset’s most iconic monument, Corfe Castle, is situated on the Purbeck hills and stands above the village of the same name. The Castle dates back to the eleventh century and was designed to protect from invasion from the coast.

Lesceave Rocks is a rocky shore at the south eastern end of Praa Sands. While the latter is very well known for its outspread golden beach line, the former is especially characterized by its enclosed characters and its huge boulders.

Situated in the South of France, the Camargue is the largest river delta of Western Europe. It is enclosed by two arms of the Rhône and the Mediterranean Sea in the south. This huge area covers a variety of habitats: marshes, lagoons, beaches, dunes, salt and fresh water.
Photographing butterflies
As a nature photographer the day often starts with the question: where do I begin? There are so many photographic opportunities and it is not always easy to choose the right object at the right moment. But among all of nature’s amazing diversity, there is one species you just can’t take bad pictures of, namely butterflies.
